The System Administrator is responsible for the customers’ overall satisfaction and delivery of technical support to existing customers including knowledge transfer, informal training, issue problem determination and resolution and on-going consultative assistance. The System Administrator is expected to provide leadership and subject matter expertise as well as mentoring to other team members.


  • Experience in installing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Experience in installing and configuring Microsoft SQL Server including Database Mirroring, High Availability Groups
  • Experience with VMware solutions, Microsoft HyperV, current versions of Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Experience of managing systems in a global cloud based environment, including multi-tenant customer data centers and cloud based infrastructure strategies with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in evaluating customer requirements and producing resolution for users in a timely manner
  • Experience in installing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Ability to manage complex project situations, and to work with regionally and globally dispersed teams and projects
  • Experience in Help Desk solutions environment and terminal services and/or virtual desktop
  • High proficiency in the use of personal computer and networking software, hardware and related equipment and computer maintenance and automated installation tools and equipment
  • The ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and cooperatively resolve problems with vendors and end users
  • Solid troubleshooting skills as well as good communication skills both orally and written
  • Education & Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification
    • 6 years’ minimum experience working within Microsoft corporate infrastructures
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
    • Experience building MS Azure cloud computing platform and infrastructure
    • Experience supporting IT Operations in a 24/7 highly available environment
    • Microsoft Certified Professional
    • SQL certifications preferred


  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers and coworkers
  • This position is responsible for the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of the companies’ mission critical production Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (SaaS), and architecture.
  • Support and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, intranet systems and Microsoft Azure
  • Support and installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, 2012 and AX 7 environments
  • Support Microsoft SQL 2012 Servers
  • Design Azure deployments based on customer requirements and best practices
  • Design, deployment, upgrade and decommissioning of: Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, ADFS, Certificates, DNS, DHCP and Direct Access
  • Evaluate and modify system performance, analyze and isolate issues, and identify user needs and provide feedback on systems effectiveness
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and script maintenance
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
  • All other duties as assigned
