TREASURY SPECIALIST

Job Objective

Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure sufficient funding, competitive financing costs, and effective management of the Company’s financial commitments.

Qualification requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
  
  Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar treasury/financing role within a corporate environment, or as a Corporate Relationship Manager (RM) at a bank.
  
  Skills & Knowledge
• Good understanding of banking credit products and corporate lending processes.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and networking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly for cash flow modelling and debt/facility management.
  
  Duties
  Fundraising & Financing
• Develop financing proposals and prepare legal and corporate documents required to work with banks and financial institutions.
• Negotiate financing terms, including interest rates, fees, collateral requirements, and tenor, to optimize the Company’s cost of capital.
  Disbursement & Liquidity Management
• Manage loan disbursement procedures and debt drawdowns in line with the Company’s cash flow plan.
• Monitor principal and interest repayment schedules and ensure timely payments to maintain the Company’s credit standing.
  Financial Covenant Compliance
• Closely monitor financial ratios and covenants under financing agreements, such as debt-to-equity ratio and interest coverage ratio.
• Prepare periodic covenant compliance reports for banks and provide early warnings to management of any potential covenant breaches or related risks.Documentation & Reporting
• Manage the collateral portfolio and coordinate related valuation and insurance requirements.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on outstanding debt, credit facilities, and interest expense forecasts.
