• Coordination of UNICEF WASH project stakeholders in 5 flood affected regions located along 1000 km. border area of northern Namibia: humanitarian organizations, private, consulting and construction companies in developing and executing flood emergency response plan, strategies, projects, policies, relationships with Government and non-Governmental organizations; • Monitoring the UNICEF flood emergency support activities: supply and distribution of water and sanitation items to the flood affected people in the relocation camps and regions. • Develop Technical papers and present in regional emergency government unit meeting on assessments of water, sanitation in flood affected schools in the regions and using assessment data for immediate post-flood recovery planning for WASH activities and on conservation use of flood water during irrigation in drought season.

• Lead and implementation management of UNHCR Site planning activities shelter and site planning projects (housing and water supply and sewage infrastructures) with planning, design, estimation and implementation management, conducted meeting, conferences, negotiations, seminars and workshops, develop technical papers on with GPS coordinates for refugee camps in Djibouti; • Conduct assessment of camp infrastructures condition and requirement, design of required infrastructures, water & sanitation structures and prepare the Bill of Quantity for the material requirement for the structures following the available funding; • Lead procurement of construction materials and labors for camp infrastructures, recruitment of construction workers and performed management and supervision of construction of infrastructures, water and sanitation activities in the camp and settlements in Djibouti.

Plan and design the construction, operation and supervision of reception centers, way stations, roads, water and sanitation structures, UNHCR office and resident buildings in South Sudan. Survey the sites for the structures, roads (in South Sudan, Blue Nile States, Central African rep. connecting refugee habitats and propose the proposal for rehabilitation.

1. Planning, operation and maintenance of water structures (deep tube wells with supply network system (51 nos.), hand pump fitted boreholes 100-180 per year), dug and shallow wells (60 per year), springs’ catchments (10 per year) for supporting with water to 1.2 mln. refugees in 130 old refugee camps. Regular supervision of the project activities in work sites. Ensure work done to proper standards by monitoring design, work in progress and operating requirements and participation of community with cash, kind or labor. 2. Coordinate work of implementing partners with senior government officials, UN agencies , planning and implementation of water, sanitation, infrastructure (low-cost shelters, schools, roads), monitor the potable water quality and disinfection programme, sanitation activities with community participation. 2. Monitor the projects logistics supply and procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet the construction programme. 4. Assist UNHCR programme section in annual planning with required human and technical requirements following cost-effectiveness of WatSan and infrastructure rehabilitation programme activities. 5. Responsible for overall budgetary and financial management of the construction programme including establishing agreed budgets, verification of commercial competitiveness, transparency, verification of expenditure and financial accountability.
