- Managing complete Flight Operations including Operations Control (OCC), Crew Planning, Training & Performance evaluations, Flight Planning and Flight Operations Support functions for schedule & ad-hoc cargo flights globally; - Developing and implementing procedures and policies for managing workflow within the Flight Operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely response to incidents; - Close coordination with all airline key departments, Civil Aviation Authorities and Service Providers; - Allocating resources effectively to meet operational demands, such as personnel, equipment, and technology. Preparations of departmental monthly reports; - Ensuring operations department trainings are compliant and knowledge is retained. Continuously developing and the ongoing performance management of dept. staff; - Conducting audits and Risk Assessments within the QMS/SMS scope.

- Flight Planning: Preparing OFP's and assisting PIC in-flight by providing required information such as maximum allowable takeoff and landing weights, weather reports, and many other informational components required for the safe completion of flight. Preparing the ATS flight plans and filing the ATS flight plan with the appropriate ATS unit. Computing the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to aircraft type, distance of flight, maintenance limitations and weather conditions. - Analysis: Analyzing and evaluating usability of airports to determine potential hazards to safety of flight and to select the most desirable and economic route. - Updating of significant changes: Updating the commander of significant changes to weather or flight plan and recommending suitable alternates. Producing all required flight plan documentation and ensuring this is available to the flight crew. Briefing the flight crew of any irregularities they may encounter on the flight. - M.E.L. Management: Liaising with maintenance for any M.E.L. items, which may affect the performance of the aircraft being planned. - Flight Watch: Furnishing the PIC while in Inflight with the appropriate information necessary for the safe conduct of the flight. - Safety Management System: In the event of an emergency, initiating relevant procedures specified in the Air Manas Emergency response plan manual. - EFB Administration: ensuring that the EFB hardware and software applications are configured in accordance with applicable requirements and that their output complies with regulation.

- Authorizing, regulating and controlling airline flights according to state and company regulations to expedite and ensure safety of flight. - Responsible for economics, passenger service and operational control of day to day flight operations. - Computing the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions and minimum fuel requirements prescribed by aviation regulations. - Preparing flight plans. - Monitoring weather conditions, aircraft position reports, and aeronautical navigation charts to evaluate the progress of flight. - Updating the pilot in command of significant changes to weather or flight plan and recommending flight plan alternates, such as changing course, altitude etc.
