Project Interface Engineer
Within the ENOWA-Water Team, the Project Interface Engineer is the individual responsible for defining the Document Distribution Matrix (DDM) for the transmitters: • The PIE shall determine the Reviewers within the Water Incoming Transmittals System (WITS). • The PIE shall factor any External reviewers into the DDM and shall send the tasks out to External Reviewers. • The PIE shall act as the Lead Reviewer in terms of consolidating comments from Water Sector Engineers and External Framework Consultants into a single set for inclusion within the Comment Resolution Sheets (CRS). • The PIE may conduct their own document-level reviews where appropriate and can add their own comments for inclusion within the CRS. • The PIE shall formalize which transmittals get reviewed by Framework Consultants and manage the process for coordinating the external reviews. • The PIE shall facilitate the process for including external Reviewers on the project. • The PIE shall ‘Reject’ the transmittal if ‘Review Not Required’ or it is not Water related. • The PIE shall pick up the RFI/TQ/CR. • The PIE shall email or Teams message the relevant party regarding the request (the Reviewer will be listed on the RFI/TQ). • The PIE shall submit the TQ to the individual nominated by the Project Manager to approve the RFI/TQ/CR response. • The PIE shall copy and paste the approval into the Aconex RFI/TQ/CR response and close the loop.
