- Writing reports on the basis of analysis of the balance sheets of budget institutions (BI) and giving suggestions to the different government bodies on improving the purposeful use of government funds - Auditing BI to check aimed and effective use of public funds, revealing cases of misuse & refunding misused funds from proper parties to the state budget
