HSE Manager
• Continuous monitoring of the effective implementation of the HSE MS to ensure its adequacy and compliance with Legal regulations, ISO 45001 / 14001 standard requirements, industry best practices and company directives
• Lead, develop and direct the HSE team to become an outstanding professional striving for excellence and capable of delivering the highest standards of HSE management and leadership, providing high-level consistent advice and guidance as required
• Develop and implement a Safety Observation, Intervention and Incentive programs to foster workforce safety involvement and ownership and improve positive safety culture
• Provide technical support and advice to operations, engineering, legal, contracts, procurement and other departments on any HSE related issues
• Oversee and lead investigation of various incidents, accidents, near misses and identifying root causes and appropriate corrective / follow up actions
• Lead, direct, coach and motivate operation team members to take responsibility for their personal safety and the safety of others and to comply with company HSE policy, procedures and regulations
• Manage and implement audit programs
• Complete internal process to maintain ISO certifications. Support and participate in internal and external audits as needed for ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications
• Drive company HSE excellence through senior management visibility and involvement
• Recommend HSE staff resources necessary to successfully achieve HSE program objectives
• Participates in and leads meetings with customers, HSE team members and contractors/subcontractors to advise them on HSE requirements and progress of KPI
• Review and comment on contractor/subcontractor documentation such as TRA’s, Assurance Plan, Method Statements, Lifting Plans, working procedures, programs etc.
• Establish HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPls) and renew annually with company senior management endorsement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and environmental practices.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on HSE performance, initiatives, and areas for improvement
• Develops inspection and audit processes and establishes regular inspection schedules to ensure safe and compliant operations.
• To assess, evaluate, advise and ensure compliance with company’s HSE policies, procedures standards, regulations and legal requirements
• Conducts HSE assessments/inspections of various operation activities to monitor compliance with HSE requirements
• Promote an ethos of continuous improvement and striving for excellence within the area of the post’s remit.
• Perform subcontractor HSE screening process and documentation
• Fosters working relationships with key stakeholders to address challenges and drive the HSE culture.
