Reviewing engineering drawings P&IDs, D&D’s and specifications requirements to ensure adequate provisions have been made for testing, flushing, Steam blowing, cleaning and rotating equipment turning, Oil systems circulated flushing, Grease filling and Initial test run other pre-commissioning/commissioning functions. Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions and other team meetings intended to define design priorities and performance goals based on client objectives. Maintain commissioning and start-up records. Utilize the safety tagging and lockout procedure/process. Assist in the planning, scheduling and performance of equipment during the commissioning and start-up. Work closely with AGIP-KCO HUC UP on-site personnel’s and completion representatives engaged in pre-commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Mechanical seal, impeller, shaft, coupling, gearbox and bearing inspection /overhaul/ installation and alignment of pumps, compressors, air blower, air coolers and rotary parts of mechanical systems. Borescope and stethoscope inspections for machine internals.

• Commissioning and maintenance activities of equipment’s for OGS, FGC and SGCs areas: pumps, compressors, air and oil coolers, blowers, turbines, fire station equipment’s, mixers and oil storage tanks
• Was transferred from Equipment Preservation Project to Commissioning & Start Up project as mechanical technician. The scope of works include:
• Pumping scope: full cycle of alignment and adjustment/setting - up of various industrial pumps: centrifugal, rotary, piston type. etc.

• Complete RCA work following failure events or operating problems. Ensure Safety Critical Routines are completed on time and compliance targets are met Carry out mechanical isolations, depressurizing and cleaning of equipment required for maintenance. Purging and de-isolating ensuring all work permits have been cleared before handing over to production. Carry out front line maintenance on all Rotating Equipment. Where defects are identified a work order is raised in CMMS. Assist and work directly with operations Technicians as required. Completion of comprehensive shift handovers.
• Conversant with power generation, gas turbines, centrifugal/reciprocating compressors. Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained according to compliance and integrity standards in order to meet expected Reliability and 'uptime' Key Performance Indicators. Liaise closely with Production Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams in activity planning, engineering change. Ensure that procedures for the safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to (including Task Instructions, Permits-to Work, Task Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks). Ensure that all activities are accurately recorded in the maintenance management system, providing all necessary reports to the Operations support team. Participate in Emergency Response organization as required.
